One of several collages made for my book, Tumbleweeds, and a video commemorating 9/11, called “The Day the Birds Stopped Singing,” the imagery is all about the small and simplicities of life, and how soon they become less simple when tragedy strikes, making the moments tend to resonate as permanent memories.
