This collage combines croptography from the recent Georgia O’Keefe exhibit at PEM, Salem, MA, and recent The Degenerate (Forbidden) Art exhibit at The Fogg Museum at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. There’s an obvious Orwellian element in this work, with unusually cheerful colors. The placement of a dining area on the ‘factory floor’ pretty much mirrors the food experience many in the high tech world enjoy (or are restricted to). The only thing missing here is factory bedrooms–a veritable ‘live to work’ ethos sneaking up on the unsuspecting and enthralled.
