A collaboration with Eric Rasmussen, “Station to Station” uses his amazing Batik creations to create a unified, ethereal background. This collage is part of a series called “Stations of the Cross”–the iconography of which has always intrigued me. While the ancient references to the “Stations” focus on Christ’s horrific struggles with the cross, the modern ones are far more complex in narrating the very idea of Christ’s soul-searing stagger to Golgotha.
